We did not stay at these hotels. This page is built from Rakuten Travel listings. The buttons are affiliate links to Rakuten Travel and Agoda, labeled PR. The Japanese article says it is based on information on the official sites and on Rakuten Travel, and that it contains only what can be read from the listings, with no impressions from a stay. Records of trips we actually took are in our travel journal posts.
Hello! The kind of person who divides the room rate by the number of guests, then adds the parking fee and does the math again, is usually a friend of mine. I'm shiori. This page is for people who want to stay near Saga Station for 10,000 yen or less for two. Relying only on Rakuten Travel listings, I compared five hotels within walking distance of the station, using the actual amounts for the same day.
Quick answer
- On 14 October 2026 (Wednesday), for 2 adults in 1 room, four of the five hotels covered here were 10,000 yen or less.
- Saga City Hotel was 5,200 yen for two (2,600 yen per person), and the listing says it is 5 minutes on foot from Saga Station.
- If you want breakfast and can go a little over 10,000 yen, Comfort Hotel Saga (10,600 yen) has a free breakfast in its listing.
Who this page suits:
- People who want to stay near Saga Station for 10,000 yen or less for two.
- People who are driving and want to see the parking conditions side by side (the lead hotel's listing gives no parking fee).
- People who cannot decide between a low amount and breakfast.
Who it does not suit:
- People who want to know the room size and bed size first (the Saga City Hotel listing does not give them).
Discounts on lodging are sometimes in effect in this area. Their terms change, so check the official pages for the latest before you apply. (Our Japanese site keeps a summary with the date each official page was checked.)
Near Saga Station, four hotels were 10,000 yen or less for two
Among the hotels within walking distance of Saga Station for which an actual amount for 2 adults in 1 room could be retrieved for 14 October 2026 (Wednesday), I picked five. Four of them are 10,000 yen or less.
Other hotels also had an amount for the same day. I left out a hotel whose per-person amount was the same as its amount for two, because I could not tell how to read it, and a hotel whose price range overlaps with APA Hotel (Saga Station South Exit).
Compared on the same date, 14 October 2026 (Wednesday), our Hakata Station article (in Japanese) found no hotel at 10,000 yen or less. At Saga Station on the same date, there were four.
Prices do move from day to day, though. All I can write is the actual amount that Rakuten Travel showed on this day. Check the amount for your own date on the booking page.
Saga City Hotel (サガシティホテル)
Saga City Hotel was 5,200 yen for two, and its listing mentions a large bath and a sauna.
I chose it as the lead hotel because the amount for two was far below 10,000 yen. The price was 5,200 yen (2,600 yen per person) for 2 adults in 1 room on 14 October 2026 (Wednesday), as listed on Rakuten Travel.
5,200 yen, and a large bath and a sauna are listed
The listing text names a large public bath (daiyokujo), a sauna and a rest room on the 2nd floor with a manga corner.
- There is a large public bath.
- There is a sauna.
- There is a rest room on the 2nd floor, with a manga corner.
The opening hours of the large bath are not in the data we have. That is what I would want to know, so please check it on the booking page.
5 minutes on foot from the station, and 40 parking spaces if you drive
The access line says 5 minutes on foot from JR Saga Station, and 15 minutes from Saga-Yamato IC on the Nagasaki Expressway. It does not say which exit of the station the 5 minutes is measured from.
The parking line gives 40 spaces, first come first served, and says large vehicles need a reservation. No fee is given. If you are driving, it is safer to ask before you book.
Rakuten Travel shows 3,661 reviews with an average of 3.81.
One thing to watch is the room type. The data does not say which room plan this amount is for. If two people are staying, check the number and size of the beds on the booking page.
- Walk (as listed): 5 min on foot
- Listing mentions: large bath, sauna, parking
- Price: 5,200 yen for 2 adults in 1 room (2,600 per person), on 14 Oct (Wed)
- Reviews: 3,661 reviews, average 3.81 on Rakuten Travel
Compare the hotels: five amounts for the same date
All five amounts are Rakuten Travel prices for one night, 2 adults, 1 room, on 14 October 2026 (Wednesday). Because the date is the same, they can be compared side by side.
| Hotel | Location and walk (as listed) | Price on 14 Oct (2 adults, 1 room) | Reviews on Rakuten Travel | Suits (per the Japanese article) |
|---|---|---|---|---|
Saga City Hotel (サガシティホテル) |
JR Saga Station: 5 minutes | 5,200 yen (2,600 per person) | 3,661 reviews, average 3.81 | People who want to keep 2 people in 1 room to 10,000 yen or less and also use a large bath |
KANSEI null Saga (KANSEInull佐賀) |
Saga Station: 9 minutes | 8,800 yen (4,400 per person) | 46 reviews, average 3.48 | People who do not mind walking a little and want free parking |
Business Hotel Sun City No. 2 (ビジネスホテル サンシティ2号館) |
JR Saga Station north exit: 5 minutes | 9,000 yen (4,500 per person) | 367 reviews, average 3.62 | People who want the north exit side and want to keep to 10,000 yen or less |
APA Hotel (Saga Station South Exit) (アパホテル〈佐賀駅南口〉) |
JR Saga Station south exit: 3 minutes | 10,000 yen (5,000 per person) | 2,407 reviews, average 4.01 | People who want a hotel close to the south exit for exactly 10,000 yen |
Comfort Hotel Saga (コンフォートホテル佐賀) |
JR Saga Station: 1 minute | 10,600 yen (5,300 per person) | 3,505 reviews, average 4.12 | People who will go a little over 10,000 yen for being close to the station and a free breakfast |
Even on the same day, the actual amounts of Saga City Hotel and Comfort Hotel Saga differ quite a bit. The question is whether being closer to the station and having breakfast are worth that difference.
If you drive, add the parking fee before comparing
The parking conditions of the hotels near Saga Station varied. Even if the room rate is 10,000 yen or less, adding the parking fee can push some hotels over 10,000 yen.
- Saga City Hotel: 40 spaces, first come first served; large vehicles need a reservation (no fee given).
- KANSEI null Saga: 5 spaces, free, first come first served.
- Business Hotel Sun City No. 2: 18 spaces, 500 yen per night from 1 December 2023, by reservation in advance.
- APA Hotel (Saga Station South Exit): a flat lot with 25 spaces, 1,000 yen per night (large vehicles need a reservation).
- Comfort Hotel Saga: partner parking with 20 spaces, 800 yen per night, first come first served, no in-and-out, width 2.0 m and length 5.0 m, large vehicles not allowed.
KANSEI null Saga was the only one whose listing says parking is free. The number of spaces is on the small side, though. Business Hotel Sun City No. 2 takes parking by reservation in advance, so book it together with your room.
